Modified on: Wed, 9 Jul, 2025 at 10:50 AM
Inserting a Micro-SD card:
- Make sure dash cam is turned off and the screen is facing you
- Insert the SD card into the slot on the right side with the text on the SD card away from you
- Push the SD card in gently until you hear a click
Notes on installation:
- It is advised that the dash camera is installed near the rear-view mirror, at the top centre of the windshield.
- Make sure that the lens is within the range of the windscreen wiper to ensure a clear view when it rains.
- Do not touch the lens with your fingers. Fingerprints left on the lens will result in unclear videos or photos. If photos or videos are blurred, please clean the lens gently with a microfibre cloth.
- Do not install the device on a tinted window. Doing so may damage the tint film and restrict the Dash Camera’s GPS signal
- Make sure that the installation position does not hinder or block the field of view or GPS signal.
- Only use the included cable to power the Dash Camera.
- The camera is designed to be constantly connected to the included power supply and is NOT designed to be used solely with the camera’s built-in battery.
Installing the Dash cam:
- Connect the window mount to the top of the dash camera and rotate the angle locking nut (No.5) clockwise until it is tight
- Make sure you have followed the instructions on "Notes on installation" before continuing
- Remove the stickers from the dash camera and the suction mount
- Press the mount base firmly against the windscreen and hold for 30 seconds
Connecting to power:
- These steps might require specialised help if you are not experienced in this process.
- Once the dash camera is securely installed on your vehicle's windscreen, plug the DC power plug into your vehicle's cigarette lighter.
- Run the power cable along the top and side of the windscreen and behind your glove box. Plug the Mini USB plug into the Dash Camera.
