Setting the Time and Date allows you to stamp your footage with the time and date as a reference. Date and time stamps are important, especially when using your footage in an insurance claim. 

Follow the guide below to setup your time and date:

KPT-3300, KPT-1124, KPT-1100, KPT-590, KPT-590GPS, KPT-592 and KPT-592GPS:

1. Ensure that the dash camera is powered on but not recording
2. Press and hold the "M" button to enter the settings menu
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Date/Time" button and press "OK/power"
4. Use the arrow keys to adjust information and "OK/power" to move between sections.
5. When in the final field to confirm the settings, click the "M" button.

KPT-1024

1. Ensure that the dash camera is powered on but not recording
2. Press and hold the "M" button to enter the settings menu
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Date/Time" button and press "OK/power"
4. Use the arrow keys to adjust information and "OK/power" to move between sections.
5. When in the final field to confirm the settings, click the "M" button.

KPT-1240:

1. Ensure that the dash camera is powered on but not recording
2. Short press the "M" button twice to enter the settings menu
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Date/Time" button and press "OK/power "
4. Use the arrow keys to adjust information and right button to move between sections.
5. When in the final field to confirm the settings, click the "OK/power " button.
